Yukimura Katsuki (勝木 幸村 Katsuki Yukimura) is the main protagonist of the film Samurai Dragon Amatsu and the Lady in the Water and a supporting character of the sequel Kaiju of Retribution Tatsura. He was the lover and later husband of Shiranui Mizuki, who in turn had birthed a daughter with him, Yukikaze Mizuki.

Yukimura Katsuki started off as a young man with spiky brown hair and brown eyes. He wore a blue shirt with yellow stripes at the end of his sleeves and the bottom of his shirt.
In Kaiju of Retribution Tatsura, he is changed dramatically.
A scrapped concept had him resembled a stereotypical samurai with samurai armor over his body though he was shirtless and wore hakama.

Shiranui Mizuki[]
He and Shiranui Mizuki first met around the time when they were 18 years old during the Osaka Crisis in 2010. They had known each other in the span of four months prior to Yukimura's first encounter against Nobunaga Oda, who was resurrected in the present day. Yukimura's hot-blooded personality, with a "charge-to-battle-headfirst" mindset, as Shiranui called it, clashed with here serene and calm personality, resulting in the first few months of their relationship being more akin to that of rivals than friends. Due to Nobunaga's ambition to capture Shiranui for reasons that were unknown at the time, Yukimura dedicated upon himself to protect her from danger, which was why he was seen by many enemies of Shiranui as the number one obstacle to capturing her.
Having never been in a relationship nor being that close to a girl, the fire samurai had been shy to the water Taimanin and was sometimes unsure on what he wished to express on her himself. However, during and especially after the Osaka Crisis, Shiranui and Yukimura realized that they loved the other and needed each other to survive. Despite the heavy burden that the two carry as a samurai and a Taimanin who fight evil wherever and whenever, they fully understood each other, though occasionally they would delve to tough disagreements in how they plan or fight. Two months after the Osaka Crisis ended and Nobunaga was defeated, Shiranui and Yukimura fully sealed their relationship as lovers and tied the knot together. According to Asagi, the two were a great power couple and strong partners, flowing perfectly in rhythm like "fire and water". However, over the years, he and Shiranui became a little more distant from each other, but still maintained a strong family bond with their daughter, Yukikaze, as well as Rinko and Tatsurou, who they also viewed as children of theirs.
Unfortunately, in the years leading up to Shiranui's disappearance, they were struck with the Curse of Separation by the Phantom Lord Kamadeva, who intended to make Shiranui all his through illusions and dreams but Ryuuji Kuroi had his eyes on Shiranui. Because of this, they were never able to see eye to eye or get any kind of communication with each other again, despite each of them having time with their daughter and children-figures. The Curse is also reason why every attempt he made to save Shiranui by travelling through time has failed over and over again.

Tatsurou Akiyama[]
He viewed both Rinko Akiyama and Tatsurou Akiyama as his children along with Shiranui Mizuki. Later, Tatsurou becomes his ward.

He viewed both Rinko Akiyama and Tatsurou Akiyama as his children along with Shiranui Mizuki. He is usually called Uncle by Rinko Akiyama.

If Yukimura lived long enough, he will become an enemy of Ryuuji Kuroi due to the fact that Ryuuji targeted Shiranui. However, he was killed by either Ryuuji or his underlings while trying to find Shiranui.

Weapons[]
During battle, Yukimura carries a large blade called the Flame Dragon Katana Onimaru, (炎龍刀・鬼丸 Enryūtō Onimaru) clad in gold, decorated with flames and supplied with powers of fire that can only be unleashed by a user who has control over his fire elemental powers.
In Kaiju of Retribution Tatsura, he wears the Cursed Armor Jukokugai.

Etymology[]
- The name Yukimura means "happiness, good luck" (幸) (yuki) and "town, village" (村) (mura).
- Yukimura's surname Katsuki means "victory" (勝) (katsu) and "tree, wood" (木) (ki).
