“For this is what we are fighting: freedom's oldest enemy, the passion of the few to rule the many. This isn't just a war. This is a free people's life-and-death struggle against those who would put them back into slavery; the free peoples of America and Britain, of Japan and India, of Australia and Canada, of Israel, France and Mexico, of Europe, Africa and all the hundred and fifty nations of the world that have sworn that man shall still remain free. That is the cause in which we fight. We lose it… and we lose everything. Our homes, the jobs we want to go back to, the books we read, the very food we eat, the hopes we have for our kids, the kids themselves… They won't be ours anymore. That's what's at stake: it's us or them! The chips are down! Two worlds stand against each other. One must die. One must live. 260 years of freedom decrees our answer.”

Casualties and Losses[]

Prior to the beginning of the entire war in 2029, the total population of the world was over nine billion.

Not counting the innumerable clones created by various factions in the war that were sent into battle and killed, it was likely there were around five billion human casualties caused throughout the war, which amounted 50-55% of the entire human population. All the casualties were the result of the war itself, unrest, nuclear attacks, massive atrocities from three sides, continent-wide genocides from either the Domination, the Caliphate or the Underworld Legion, famines (in particular, the Great Famine of 2033-2035) and the outbreak of HAVA Virus.

Aftermath[]

The vast scales of total destructions brought upon the world severely decimated the planet's ecosystem as a result of constant development of wartime materials from factories and other sources of pollution and contamination and worldwide nuclear bombardments that burned and irradiated atmospheres, waters and soils of entire areas, rendering whole landscapes inhospitable for any lifeform.
