Murasaki Yatsu (八津 紫 Yatsu Murasaki) is one of the major characters of the Taimanin arc of the Mahou Kaiju Series, making her first appearance in Senryuukaku vs. Mudou, fighting alongside her Taimanin comrades since.

Murasaki is a sexy woman with a very attractive appearance, long waist-long indigo-blue hair and red irises on her eyes. She wears her signature white Taimanin battle suit.

Murasaki and Sabato Kiryuu have a very complicated relationship even since their first appearances in Senryuukaku vs. Mudou. She expressed great hatred against Kiryuu for capturing her, Sakura and Ingrid. As time passed, since Kiryuu's resurrection, he and Murasaki had a love-hate relationship, with the mad doctor waffling between being a villain and anti-hero.

As a veteran Taimanin, Murasaki honed several years to master her skills and powers, which put her in a position as one of the physically strongest Taimanin, nearly on the level of the likes of Asagi Igawa, her superior. As such, Murasaki is a warrior that is feared by both her enemies for her strength and fierceness in battle, and her colleagues and allies for her strict nature and equally ruthless fighting prowess, compliment by her incredibly strong abilities.

- The name Murasaki means "purple, violet" (紫).
