Hanashiaite wa jibun da yo
Ano hito nani mo shiranai
Dakedo, michi wa aru

Aishiteru, demo yoake ni wa
Inai, kawa mo tada no kawa
Ano hito inai sekai wa
Machi mo ki mo doko mo tanin bakari yo

Aishite mo, omoi shirasa reru
Isshō, yumemiru dake sa
Ano hito atashi wo iranai
Shiawase no sekai ni en nadonaaai!!

Demo, hitori sa……

On my own, pretending he's beside me
All alone, he walks with me 'til morning
Without him, I feel his arms around me
And when he lost his way, he closed my eyes and I have found him

In the rain, the pavement shines like silver
All the lights are misty in the river
In the darkness, the trees are full of starlight
And all we saw is him and me forever and forever

And I know it's only in my mind
That I'm talking to myself and not to him
And even if I'm a victim of my own lust
Still I say there's a way for us

I love him, but when the night is over
He is gone, the river's just a river
Without him, the world around me changes
The trees are bare and everywhere the streets are full of strangers

I love him, But every day we're learning
All our lives we've only been pretending
Without me, his world will all be crumbling
The world is full of happiness that we have never known!

I love him…
He loves me…
I love him…
But only on our own……

Spoken Prologue Edit

Tatsurou 6

Tatsurou, somewhere outside Under Eden

Shortly before the song, Yukikaze has a brief flashback when Tatsurou confessed to her.

(Inside her room in Under Eden, Yukikaze is lying on her bed and looking at her pendant)
Yukikaze: Tatsurou…
(Flashback to when Tatsurou gave Yukikaze the pendant)
Tatsurou: This will be proof of our love.
(Yukikaze nods)
Tatsurou: Yukikaze, I will protect you with my life.
Yukikaze: It doesn't matter what happened, I will never forget you.
Tatsurou: I believe in you, Yukikaze.
(The two kiss as flashback ends)
Yukikaze: (still looking at her pendant) Don't worry, Tatsurou, I still remember you.
(Outside, Tatsurou and Zokuto are standing by the entrance of the brothel)
Tatsurou: Yukikaze…

Usage Edit

Before the song plays, Yukikaze is inside her room in Under Eden. Six months had passes since she and Rinko were captured during their mission. She lies down on her bed, holding and staring at the pendant that she still wears. She remembers the time when Tatsurou gave her the pendant when he confessed his love to her, to which she returns her's. After reminiscing and reassuring to herself that she will still remember Tatsuro and return as soon as the mission ends, Yukikaze sings the song, lamenting that she is alone and imprisoned in a world isolated from the one she knows and lives in, from the embrace of her love for six months and counting. However, she learns that continuing to remember Tatsurou is a painful reminder of her dangerous quest to find her mother and every single day she has spent without the ones she love, as well as every single day that has passed for Tatsurou without hearing anything about her and her situation.
