Heaven and Hell: Daimajin (天国と地獄:大魔神 Tengoku to Jigoku: Daimajin?) is a 2020 Japanese anime film produced by Sunrise and Toei Animation and directed and co-written by Sam Imbecile. First released in Japanese theaters on February 16, 2020, it is the third installment of the Mahou Kaiju Series and a reboot of the Daimajin franchise. It was soon given an international release by Funimation Entertainment via Netflix streaming on January 3, 2021.

The year 2020 dawns. Nearly a year has passed since the events of Shin Gamera, since the battle between Gamera and Aldrych that destroyed Tokyo. In the midst of the slow recovery, crime and corruption ran through the streets and rubble of the capital city. Among those undesirable elements is the 12 Angels, a notorious drug-crime syndicate. While the government secret agents Rei Kirisawa and Fuuko Izumi are investigating in the depths of the ruined Tokyo and looking for the syndicate's base, they discover a plan by the 12 Angels to unleash gigantic tentacle monsters under their control on the surface through the use of human test subjects. With the peace of Japan being threatened once, a legendary god of stone and sword hears the call…
